Homeowners observed substantial frozen pellets as large as seven centimeters in certain regions. Weather authorities announced that various areas across the state had been affected by substantial ice precipitation.

Emergency response teams responded to 598 calls for help across the region, mainly for property damage but also for downed trees and water accumulation.

Tomorrow was forecast to be the heaviest precipitation period, with ongoing thunderstorm potential predicted across various areas of both states.
