Wilfried Nancy declared he did not fear losing his job, claiming, “We are really close to a turnaround,” despite edging perilously close to the exit with a heavy loss to Rangers.

A Second-Half Meltdown Leads to Old Firm Defeat

Celtic had led Rangers at the interval but a collapse after the break let Rangers to draw level on points with the defending Scottish Premiership champions. The former MLS manager, who was hired in December, has now presided over six setbacks in his first eight matches.

“We produced a lot of encouraging signs that we did, as was the case today. However it’s about performing for 90 minutes. My narrative would change if it was not the case. This is why I am convinced the team can to get back on track.”

The Rangers Boss Stance

The victorious boss played down talk of a serious challenge in spite of what seemed like a statement victory. “One match at a time, so we can develop something here,” he said. “The faith in the team is excellent.”
